Arthur House is the Chief Cybersecurity Risk Officer for the State of Connecticut. He has extensive experience in national security, having served as Director of Communications in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and as Chief of the Communications Group for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, a combat support agency of the U.S. Department of Defense.
We live in a world that is increasingly digital and dangerous.  This digital world is built for speed, access and information sharing but it is these same attributes that make our digital world vulnerable.  Arthur House’s presentation will examine global and national cybersecurity threats and how they affect Connecticut.  He will review plans to protect critical infrastructure and then discuss creation of a cybersecurity strategy for Connecticut with special attention on state and municipal governments, private business, higher education and law enforcement.
