“What’s in a Watt?” will focus on practical and legislative challenges that occur when wind, solar and other renewable energy sources are added to the energy supply. The presentations are also meant to call attention to the promise of something as basic as electricity, and to issues that arise when renewable sources are introduced in population areas that are far from energy grids.
