Want to Get Involved? Whether it's just for an hour or serving on the board, come join us!

We want to increase our engagement throughout the entire county...27 towns! So planning has begun to host small socials in members' homes. Would you open your home for coffee and dessert? Or could you assist with making welcoming calls to new members? In warmer months, we want to host larger outside gatherings in the region that require a few more hands to make light work. Please reach out via email (see below) and let them know how you can help!

The kinds of things you would do are contacting legislators about important votes, attend informational events, suggest ways to encourage advocacy action on a variety of important issues, take pictures, and provide input regarding which issues to focus on in 2024-2025

The kinds of things you would do are going to libraries, colleges and events and assisting at a table (with other LWV volunteers), where we sign up people to register to vote. 

We're looking for experts in subjects related to democracy, voting, current political issues, and world events. Presentations can be via Zoom or in-person within the Litchfield County area.
